Wassim Heneine is Managing Director of Emerging Investment Partners (“EIP”), the private equity fund
management company focused on the Middle East and North Africa (“MENA”) region. He has spent over
17 years in the Private Equity and Corporate Finance practice. Prior to EIP, Wassim was a Director of
EuroMena Private Equity Fund Management Team where he spent five years and led some of the fund’s
investments in the MENA region including Lebanon, Egypt and Algeria in a variety of sectors. Prior to
joining Euromena, Mr. Heneine was an Investment Banker in Paris at BNP Paribas covering emerging
markets. In this capacity, he advised major clients including Saudi Arabian Airlines, the Government of
Albania and regional banks in the Middle East on several transactions in the banking, insurance, airline,
consumer goods among others. Prior to that, Mr. Heneine was a Manager in the transaction services
department of PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Paris and Boston where he performed buy side and sell side
due diligence for financial and strategic buyers and sellers. Wassim is a CFA charter, CPA holder,
obtained his MBA (with honors) from Boston University, attended Oxford University and is also a
graduate of AUB.
